Cool, that's about 2 miles from where I work. They are just finishing up expanding Jackson Rd there too.

My legs still have better range, so I doubt I'd be buying one, but it's good to see this kind of thing gaining traction.

Sounds exciting & I love the idea, yet look at the body design--totally Honda--which means it is too tall for many of us shorter women. awww....

Thanks for the good words!

The seat height is 27" by my measurement. It's as short as a Buell Blast with the low seat option (which is a good low bike that I happen to have here to measure). A friend of mine is 5'0 with very small inseam, and she can get both feet down no problem on the electric scooter.

Also it weighs only 390 lbs, and the weight is very low in the chassis, which makes it much easier to handle than most motorcycles.

We'll have our showroom open in a few weeks, come by and try one out. One test ride (or even a test-sit) is worth a thousand guesses.

Now that's just too cool. Quick & dirty math (assuming my current car, current price of gas, most expensive version of this scooter) tells me that if I had to I give up the bus and started driving to work again, this thing would pay for itself in gas alone in about 7 years. Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to take it out on the interstate around here. Still, if I had to start driving to work again I might look into it.
