It does say about 7. 8 is about 7, especially for something packaged by weight, not actual count.

True enough... but... but... somehow I rather suspect that each of the sleeves _always_ has the same number of cookies. At least this year, in this size ...

Cool, you got extra cookies! What are you complaining about?

Me, I prefer Tagalongs...except that they place them in carefully spaced plastic dividers so that there's more air than cookies in there.

What am I complaining about? Well, assuming they're being as honest as they can, since they didn't say "about 8", there must be at least 2 cookies in there that have zero calories -- AND THEY DIDN'T TELL ME WHICH ONES.

Oh... that's not what they're called around here. (googling...) Ah... Peanut Butter Patties. (Which, as I recall, are similar to the treat I got occasionally as a child -- Tandy Takes (sometimes called Kandy Kakes).

The packaging is one of the annoyances with the Caramel De Lites (aka Samoas) that I favor. One of the reason I got more Thin Mints and Shortbreads (Trefoils) this year.

Me, I'd say: stupid Girl Scouts ...

They didn't have a calculator to do the calculation for them when they wrote the text for the box.

The thought that you could be right HURTS.

7+7 = 14

14 + 14 = 28

32 - 28 = 4

hmmmm I'm not that good at math. I guess Girl scouts are worse. (G)

Hmmm... or they didn't change the box when they did the cookie size -- or possibly they did the math on the "grams" rather than the "ounces", then converted and rounded down.

Serving size 4 cookies, except when you fail to stop at 4 and actually have 5, so reducing the average number of servings per container....

Oooh, that makes sense.

Breakage. There are always a few broken cookies. And we all know that broken cookies don't count in the calorie tally.

Works for me! ;-)

Ooops. I didn't mean to STEP on that box and JUMP a little...

7 servings? Who are they kidding? The box has two sleeves of cookies. That says two servings as far as I'm concerned.

Seeing my cookie dealer today to get my fix!

I agree with the "2 servings" approach... except for those days when it's only one.
